I arrived in Miami with high expectations and a bit of nervousness. I completed my internship in reception, where I learned to manage reservations, check-ins, and handle international clients. I discovered that I love customer service. It’s an experience I highly recommend to anyone looking to grow both professionally and personally.

I worked in restaurants for six years, but I wanted something more. Thanks to the Training Program, I secured a position in the kitchen of a restaurant in New York. I learned new techniques, worked with incredible chefs, and gained insight into how high-end gastronomy operates in the U.S. Today, I am a chef at a luxury hotel in my country, and without this experience, I wouldn’t be where I am now.

My first job in the U.S. was at an amusement park in Wisconsin. I had no prior experience, but I learned quickly. It was amazing to meet people from all over, and with my salary, I was able to travel to New York before returning home. The best part was the independence I gained and the confidence in my English. I would do it again without hesitation!

I never thought this experience would teach me so much. I completed the Internship program in housekeeping, and not only did I learn about hotel management, but I also improved my organization and leadership skills. I ended up as a team supervisor, which has been a great boost to my resume. I would do it again without hesitation.

Being part of the Training Program in California helped me transition from an employee to a supervisor. Over the course of a year, I learned about sales strategies, guest services, and team management. Now, back home, I have better job opportunities and a global network of contacts. Highly recommended!

During my internship, I realized the importance of every detail in the guest experience. I worked in the rooms division of a luxury resort. At first, it was a challenge, but I ended up feeling like part of the team. Now, I know I want to continue growing in this industry.
